Turnip (490g-510g)

A fresh turnip of about 500g, with crisp white flesh and a mildly peppery taste. Use it in shalgam sabzi, shalgam ka bharta, turnip pickle, soups, stews and roasted vegetables. Peel and cube before cooking. Store in the fridge in a bag and use within a week or two. It also adds flavour to mixed vegetable pickles.
