Deep Chana Dal is split Bengal gram in a 3.63kg pack, with a nutty taste and firm texture. Soak for an hour, then cook for chana dal tadka, dal with lauki, or Bengali cholar dal. It is also used in tempering for South Indian dishes, and for vadas and chutneys. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
